The Sketchbook

Thank you!

Okay, last…last Thursday or something I posted something with a POTC 4 gif. I thought the gif was cool, whoever made it is awesome, so I added to the title and post, “When you do something cool…And you know you can’t do it again….” to it and posted it. Not even a day after it was posted, it was reblogged like 50 times. About 2 weeks later and it’s been reblogged and liked over 32 thousand times, it was added to funniest posts or something, then I gained about 40 followers. Anyway, point is, I never thought anything I posted would get spread around so quickly and so fast. I go on tumblr everyday and my entire dashboard is filled with reblogs from that one gif. I know it’s not really significant to anyone, and it shouldn’t really matter. But I’m really flattered, and just wanted to say thanks!

Today…

I went to the doctors to get my ear checked out, because it’s been hurting me pretty bad and I can’t really hear too well out of them. It feels like someone is stabbing both my ears with sharpened pencils repeated, then squeezing my skull. So, I went to get it checked out…turns out, I have an ear infections….YAY! No. Anyway, ear infections are most common in infants and young children…that made me question if I have baby ears. I also realized today, that my Doctor looks like the guy who plays Uncle Vernon(Harry Potter)/King George(Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and Wallace Shawn(Vizzini, The Princess Bride) , and sounds like him too.

…Gross…

Anyway, on a slightly lighter note, I opened up more on a Facebook Note than I have ever in my life time. I mean, it was mostly surface stuff, nothing too person or deep…but it was  a step in the right direction. I feel proud, I hope to overcome my fear of sharing, I don’t want my emotions to have control over me. There is so much too me, and I shouldn’t be afraid to share it with those close to me.

Also, hopefully if my antibiotics don’t get in the way, I’ll be able to donate blood next Thursday. I’m O-, meaning I can give blood to everyone, I’M A LIFE SAVER. But unlike people who are O+; who can get blood from O+ and O-, I can ONLY get blood from O-. About 7% of Canadians are O- and 39% are O+. And even though I absolutely hate needles, I’m going forth to help people.

I just saw…

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES!

(That’s not from the movie, but I love Geoffery Rush)

Anyway, I read/heard so many mixed reviews about the movie, I went in with low expectations. That way, if it was bad, I wouldn’t be that disappointed and if it was good, I’d be pleasantly surprised. And I was,  I mean, it definitely was missing that same spark, magic, or whatever the previous movies had, but I still enjoyed it. I’m not really going to go in depth, ‘cause I’m REALLY tired. But, I recommend seeing this movie, it’s hard to resist a good pirate movie. And I did enjoy Blackbeard, he was no where near the magical man that Davy Jones was, but he’ll have to do.

Kermit the Frog At The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ World Premiere (by ClevverMovies)

This…was adorable.

‘Nough said.

When you do something cool…

And you know you can’t do it again…

Yo-ho, all together, hoist the colors high! Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die.
